I have the honour to report,
in conformity with Memo: N. 546, 7 October 1877, that two Fokien
Junks, the particulars of which are given below, have been lying in
this harbour about a
fortnight. They
are evidently afraid to leave and
a
steam cutter
risk being taken by Chinese Revenue Cruisers, of which one has shown in and out of this bay in the afternoons of the last two days and two large launches cruised from
dark yesterday until 2.30. a.m. to-day.
